The big screen at home has been our thing for years. Looking for a new projector, we saw what many of you see: good quality was very expensive, and the affordable models disappointed.

What we noticed

A two-speed market.

In stores we found projectors selling for €200–300 that only claim around 140 ANSI lumens: a dull picture as soon as the room isn’t fully dark. The genuinely bright models quickly cost over €500.
